Enhancing the lives of infants and children

The Amadeus Steen Foundation (ASF) is a non-profit organization dedicated to enhancing the well-being of children in Manitoba and beyond by supporting worthwhile initiatives that provide opportunities for children to be healthy, to learn, and to play.

Some examples of our recent work include:

• funding a $500,000 acute illness infant and child monitoring unit in the Children’s Hospital in Winnipeg
• sponsoring the Lakeshore Area Multi-service Project (LAMP), which provides medical services and other programs to at-risk children and their families
• supporting the North End Hockey Program that provides less fortunate children with the opportunity to play hockey, develop life skills, and make lifetime friends and precious memories

The Foundation operates with a volunteer Board of Directors and a dedicated group of volunteers that raise money through outstanding events, generous donations or sponsorships, and the kind support of athletes, entertainers, and compassionate fan base, as well as caring community members.

Participate in several draws and various bidding formats such as the exciting live auction of renowned memorabilia.
	JULY 11 • 2013 THE 7TH ANNUAL CANAD INNS STEEN CLASSIC The Canad Inns Steen Classic has earned a reputation as a premier annual golf experience in Winnipeg. Celebrities accompany each team of four on a fun-filled day of golf. 	JULY 12, 13 • 2013 BOBBY HULL FISHING TRIP Much more than a typical fishing derby, this annual event is nothing short of an ‘experience’. Current and alumni NHL athletes like Bobby Hull and Ulf Nilsson accompany participants on a first-class, two-day fishing adventure in pursuit of the coveted Hotline Trophy.
