While watching the draft live on TSN on the MTS Centre center hung, the crowd was amped up like an actual game before owner Mark Chipman walked up the stairs to the podium. Mr. Chipman introduced our new team's Executive Vice President and General Manager Kevin Cheveldayoff who would make the selection (draft position number seven as the seventh Canadian NHL team) "on behalf of the Winnipeg Jets". WOW! What a moment it was to witness the MTS Centre nearly blow its lid!! There were almost as many tears of joy as there were cheers for the return of the Winnipeg Jets.
Don't forget to "pay it back" to the sponsors ! They are the ones keeping Your site free.
